Gabai River Waterfall Claimed

Gabai River Waterfall located at Kampung Sungai Lui. It has 12 levels with 336 small stairs before reaching the top level. There are a lot of tent build by Majlis Daerah Hulu Langat. Public toilet, changing rooms & musallah provided. Gabai river flow from Gunung Besar Hantu (1462m) located in Negeri Sembilan.

[Gombak Hulu Langat Geopark]

Hulu Langat Sungai Gabai Porphyry is one of the Gombak-Hulu Langat Geopark’s geosites, which is a Sungai Lalang Forest Reserve, and has scientific, recreational, and aesthetic heritage value. Sungai Gabai’s Hulu Langat Porphyry is a Hill Dipterocarp Mixed Forest.

The Hulu Langat Porphyry of Sungai Gabai contains 12 tiers of waterfalls formed by a series of falls on a series of cracks parallel to the Northwest-Southeast direction of the Bukit Tinggi Fault. The presence of foliated xenoliths within granite rocks is indicated by rock outcrops in this area.

The easy access and good tourism amenities here make it suitable for public recreation and education purposes.
