Kuala Selangor District Historical Museum is located 53km away from Shah Alam and 40km from Royal Klang Town. Originally, the museum building was an old Official Residence of Kuala Selangor District Office.
Kuala Selangor District Historical Museum gathered all histories related to Kuala Selangor as the Selangor earliest administration centre and also the beginning of the Royal Selangor Institution created by Raja Lumu (Sultan Salehuddin) in 1766.
It is the place where the history is showcased for all to see. The exhibition which uses a “user-friendly” concept, provide 7 section of the museum which explained the chronologies of history of Kuala Selangor. Interactive exhibition techniques which feature various kiosks, dioramas and audio visuals helps the visitors to understand more easily and effectively.
