With a total land area of 5 acres, the ecology park consists of 3-storey swiftlet farm and a visitor centre, surrounded by palm oil plantations and tropical fruit farms which provide plenty of insects – the swiftlet’s favourite food source. The visitor centre is equipped with a reception lobby, theater, bird nest processing and research centre, smokeless bird nest cafe, sales centre, car park, playground, Eco-garden, swiftlet gallery and restroom, among other features. Visitors will be shown a documentary video on swiftlet’s natural habitat to help them gain a deeper understanding of swiftlet living, the nutritional value of bird’s nest and the health concerns raised.
The entire ecology park is surrounded by beautiful landscaping which includes a fountain, so that visitors can enjoy refreshing nature.
