Redang Beach is well-known for its “wishing” tree, shorebirds & waterfowl & numerous seafood vendors. It is the beach area of Sekinchan where Hong Kong TVB shot some of the scenes for Outbound Love (單戀雙城) drama here. There are also various local dramas and movies shooting on this beach. However, this beach is not suitable for swimming, snorkelling or diving like the Pulau Redang.
Another must-see attraction is the Sekinchan Wishing Tree, which is located in the Redang Beach area. This tree, which is a huge tree with thousands of red ribbons dangling from its branches, will be hard to ignore. This is also one of the primary attractions, so don’t leave without making a wish by tying a red ribbon with coins around the tree.
The Redang Beach is also conveniently placed near several local seafood restaurants in the Bagan area, so a delicious seafood lunch while watching the sunset would be the perfect way to end your visit in Sekinchan! Redang Beach Sekinchan also offers entertaining activities such as playing with soap bubbles and kite flying, which are ideal for both children and adults who want to relive their childhood memories.
