Zoo Negara is known as the National Park of Malaysia and is managed by the Malaysian Zoological Society, a non-governmental organization established to create the first local zoo for Malaysians. Zoo Negara officially opened on 14th November 1963 and covers about 110 acres of land which is situated 13km from the centre of Kuala Lumpur. Zoo Negara is home to 5137 animals of which from 476 different species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. Zoo Negara has transformed itself to an open concept zoo with over 90% of its animals kept in spacious exhibits with landscape replicating their natural habitat.

Bukit Malawati or Malawati Hill is located in the coastal town of Kuala Selangor, a 30-minute drive from Kuala Lumpur. The second Sultan of Selangor had a fortress built in the late 18th century on Malawati Hill to protect the state from intruders. The high ground provided a vantage point of view to monitor the ships that passed by the Straits of Malacca. There is a tram ride service on weekends that run up the hill. There are many attractions in Malawati Hill such as the light house, the royal mausoleum, an observation tower, a museum, the 200-year-old Sena trees and not to forget the friendly monkeys.

Located at Curve NX, Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya, KidZania Kuala Lumpur or (KidZania KL) is about 25 minutes away from Kuala Lumpur city centre. KidZania is a memorable edutainment centre designed to show and encourage kids to take part in having professional jobs and it is an award-winning indoor family themed learning centre that offers interactive learning and role play experiences for kids since 2012.
