This year’s participation highlighted strategic collaborations with key agencies and industry players, in line with the Visit Selangor and Visit Malaysia Year 2026 campaign.
A key highlight of the event was the launch of a new tourism package by Klang Royal City Council (MBDK), which focused on community-based tourism encompassing Klang’s cultural heritage, history, and gastronomy offerings. Among the featured attractions were the Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery, Royal Klang Town Heritage Walk, Tanjung Harapan, Klang’s renowned seafood offerings, GM Klang Wholesale Centre, Jalan Tengku Kelana (Little India), Pulau Ketam, Pasar Jawa, Bukit Kapar traditional gasing activities, Laman Seni Safari, and Masjid Jamek Cina Muslim Klang.
The initiative was developed through close collaboration between Tourism Selangor, MBDK, local tour guides, and tourism-related associations in Klang, resulting in a range of unique tourism packages designed to stimulate economic growth while positioning Klang and Selangor as preferred destinations.
In addition, the Chocolate Museum also introduced a special limited-edition product in conjunction with Visit Selangor 2026, the Danson Pistachio Crunchy Kunafa Filling Chocolate Bar.
