PETRONAS GRAND PRIX OF MALAYSIA 2024 : CELEBRATING 25 YEARS ANNIVERSARY WITH A SPECTACULAR ‘AFTER RACE FEST’ ADDITION
SELANGOR, 30 AUGUST 2024 – PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit (PETRONAS SIC) held a press conference today at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, with YB Adam Adli, the Deputy Minister of Youth & Sports Malaysia, in attendance. The event marked the announcement of the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2024 (MotoGP™ Malaysia) scheduled to take place from 1 to 3 November 2024 in Sepang. This year marks a significant milestone of the Circuit’s 25th anniversary and MotoGP™ Malaysia being hosted in Sepang, with an addition of ‘After Race Fest’ to elevate the overall fan experience.
Chief Executive Officer of SIC, Azhan Shafriman Hanif shared, “We are thrilled to celebrate this big milestone with an incredible line ups at the festival. This year is particularly special as we celebrate 25 years since PETRONAS SIC opened its doors in 1999. A big thank you to HIFIVE Entertainment for coming on board as our strategic partner for this festival. We are offering an exclusive festival ticket for MotoGP™ Malaysia fans at just RM500, available from now until 31 August 2024.”
