Pusing Selangor Dulu Travel Hunt 2022 Showcases The Hulu Langat District’s Distinctive Tourism Offerings
BANGI – The Selangor State Government through the Official Tourism Promotion Agency, Tourism Selangor has put on the Pusing Selangor Dulu Travel Hunt 2022 Hulu Langat Edition for the first time on June 25, 2022. It started at the PKNS Complex, Bandar Baru Bangi and went to places with interesting tourism products around the Hulu Langat district.
This event is a group car exploration competition in which competitors must identify the location of the “Travel Hunt” based on the information collected to answer questions and accomplish tasks along the race route. This year, a total of 280 people in 70 teams took part in the travel hunt for the first time. With the theme “Pusing Selangor Dulu,” this event is meant to support and encourage tourism events in the state of Selangor, especially in district of Hulu Langat. Indirectly, it can promote “experiential tourism” and other community-based activities and products that can be found in every district of the State of Selangor.
Along with the notion of “Travel Hunt,” each member in a group travels in a car that allows four people. The duration of the race is six hours, beginning at 8:00 am and ending at 2:00 pm. At several ‘check point’ points around the Hulu Langat area, participants were given with ‘Hunt’ questions and travel tips as part of the disciplined format. The race’s’start’ and ‘finish’ venues are at Kompleks PKNS, Bandar Baru Bangi, with some of the checkpoints at Agro Goat Farm Sungai Kantan, Pasar Sari Pekan Beranang, Lady Bird Organic Farm Semenyih, Kampung Orang Asli Donglai Baru, Sate Rono, and others.
Mr. Azrul Shah Mohamad, Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Selangor, said in a statement, “I am confident that the Pusing Selangor Dulu Travel Hunt event, which is being held for the first time, will be able to pique the interest of the public, particularly tourism enthusiasts, as well as ‘Experiential Tourism’ and the uniqueness of the Hulu Langat district, which is our shared pride. This event may also enhance the reputation of Selangor’s tourism attractions by assisting Hulu Langat’s tourism local operators in promoting their products”.
“The state of Selangor has 9 districts and 12 PBT (Local Authority areas) that each have their own unique tourism to provide a whole tourism experience, with an emphasis on services and friendly service to tourists as well as a variety of tourism segments. We began in the Hulu Langat district and will proceed to other districts in Selangor.” Azrul Shah added.
As co-organizers, Hikers Training N Consultant, PKNS Bangi Complex, Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj), and the Selangor National Culture & Arts Department (JKKN) provided excellent support for the Pusing Selangor Dulu Travel Hunt 2022 Hulu Langat Edition.
