TOURISM SELANGOR APPOINTS NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER FOR 2025
SELANGOR, 9 JANUARY 2025 – Tourism Selangor Sdn Bhd, the official tourism promotion agency of Selangor, has announced the appointment of Chua Yee Ling as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately.
Chua succeeds Azrul Shah Mohamad, who served as CEO for five consecutive years since January 2020.
The Board of Directors, management team and staff of Tourism Selangor warmly welcome the new CEO, whose extensive 17 years of experience in managerial position across various industries brings a wealth of expertise and credibility to Tourism Selangor.
With her remarkable track record spanning both public and private sectors, Tourism Selangor is confident that Chua Yee Ling will strengthen collaboration between the agency and the Selangor State Government. This partnership is expected to drive the tourism industry to greater heights, especially in achieving the goals of Visit Selangor Year 2025.
Previously, Chua served as the Manager of Industry Development and Business Networking at Tourism Selangor for four consecutive years.
Before joining Tourism Selangor, she held several key roles in government, including Special Officer to the Minister of Housing and Local Government and serving as the State Assemblywoman (ADUN) for Kuala Sepetang, Perak.
