THE STATE OF SELANGOR LAUNCHED THE FIRST SELANGOR HOP ON HOP OFF TOUR BUS
SELANGOR, 20 MAY 2023 – The State of Selangor through its tourism promotion agency, Tourism Selangor launched the first Selangor Hop On Hop Off (HOHO) Tour Bus with the vision to boost the development of tourism services in Selangor. The tour bus was launched by the Honourable Mr. Hee Loy Sian, the EXCO of Tourism and Environment at IOI City Mall.
The HOHO tourist bus service is believed to be able to attract more tourists through the “Nak Bercuti, Pusing Selangor Dulu!” The campaign targets the domestic tourism market and provides international tourists at KLIA and KLIA2 the option to travel in the surrounding area during the long transit before proceeding to the next flight.
Operated by the LNH Tour & Transport, the first phase of the HOHO Tour Bus is set to be operated in Sepang with the assistance from 17 tourism product operators; Farm Fresh @ UPM Serdang, Avani Goldcoast Resort & Spa, Jeti Sirip Biru, Sepang International Circuit, HL Dragon Fruit, Mitsui Outlet and few others.
The EXCO of Tourism and Environment, the Honourable Mr Hee Loy Sian in a statement said, the State of Selangor encourages more involvement of agencies and tourism industry key players to support initiatives like this, as an added value for tourists to continue enjoying the uniqueness and beauty of Selangor’s tourism products.
The Selangor State Government through Tourism Selangor will cooperate even more actively in developing the HOHO tour bus service package through the ‘Go Selangor’ mobile application. The state estimates a 75% increase in the first six months through the hohoselangor.com booking site and the Go Selangor application that can be accessed through the Selangor.Travel website, as well as Tourism Selangor’s official social media pages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
